Gold Rush Kizzie
by El Padrino, out of Gold Number

Kizzie had 37 starts, winning over $100,000 in her career. She had small bone chips removed arthroscopically by Mid-Atlantic in both front ankles in July 2024, which ended her racing career. Kizzie was rehabbed properly, and ready for a new career.
Kizzie has clean tight legs, no injuries or vices, super easy keeper, barefoot and sound! Kizzie is also a easy snaffle ride, will stand at the mounting block. I work her in my fenced in field (I do not have a ring currently). She walks quietly around my property and down the road alone without any issues.
Kizzie was treated for GI-ulcers in November using omeprazole/ranitidine combo. She is a sweet, easy going, easy to handle mare. Who loves nose kisses/snuggles and treats.
Kizzie stands on crossties for bathing, grooming, vet and farrier. She can be turned out alone or in a group. She is currently out in a small group of mares -She gets along with everyone. Kizzie is great to trailer and will tie to my trailer. She has been a little Girthy, I believe it's due to my saddle not fitting her the greatest.
Kizzie has no career limitations and can go in any direction, in any ring or discipline! She is UTD on Vaccines and Coggins.
11/2/24: Kizzie has been restarted WTC and over poles. She is happy and willing to work, and she does whatever the rider asks of her. Kizzie has been an easy snaffle ride. By her 3rd ride, I was able to drop my reins to the buckle and Kizzie remained at the same pace in both the trot and canter. I am able to sit, say woah and she will drop down into the lower gait. She is laidback and responsive.
11/10/24: Despite it being cold, and drizzling during our ride, Kizzie was such a good girl. Listening really well to my seat and leg. We began the introduction of cross-rails and flowers near the jump- she popped right over it without hesitation.
11/16/24: Kizzie went to her first horse show at Bucks County Horse Park the In-gate eventing. Despite it being cold and super windy, she did try her best.. She was still really tense after warm-up going into the dressage ring and she scored a 49% for the USEA Starter test. For her first horse show, it being cold and windy, she was really good. With more experience off property and at shows, she's going to make a great little event horse.
1/24/25: Decided to start hoping on the horses now that it isn't below 20. Kizzie was a little rammy in the beginning, but she settled really quickly. For having almost 2 months off due to the weather, I can honestly say she was perfect. No buck, take off, spin.
