Hope only has 4 starts under her belt. Her trainer retired her because she didn't show interest in being a racehorse. She does have a cold right front bow that happened before her short lived racing career. Her trainer rehabbed her properly, and it has not given her any lameness issues at my farm. Hope is currently barefoot and doing great. She is turned out with a small group of mares.

Hope stands great on crossties for baths, grooming, clipping, vet and farrier. She loads easily on my trailer and trailers well. Hope is SUPER sweet, not "mare-ish" at all. Loves to be groomed and given peppermint cookies. We are working to get her to gain more weight.
7/19/25: Hope had her first ride post track after some good down time. For her first post track ride, she got ridden in a field, in a loose ring snaffle, WTC, walking over poles and she was as perfect as they come. Hope has a motor if you want it, and has great breaks. I didn't really ask much of her, other than maintaining some "straightness" through her shoulders and moving off my leg.

Hope has only had a few post track rides. I've mainly been just allowing her to have the down time and gain some weight. She is ALMOST where I would like her to be weight wise. She does need some more groceries, but this girl is ready to restart into a new career!

Hope does crib during feeding time. I have never seen her crib outside, I do try to keep her/all my horses outside as much as possible (weather dependent). I do not have her wear a cribbing collar cause she does not do it constantly. Hope did complete a 30-day course of Omeprazole/Ranitidine with Sucralfate.
