We are a working farm. We are always trying to find ways to make the farm look better, run more efficiently, and of course make my life a bit easier.
When we bought the farm , there was a carport in one fields, and two fields were connected. In order to get to the one you had to go through another. My husband pulled the carport out of the field after we moved in. Since there was a frost-free hydrant there, the plan was to make the carport an outdoor wash-stall.
Finally, this year we got around to turning the carport into a wash-stall. We also made an "out cove", so you can access all three fields from one spot. In the middle, we will be getting stone dust and turning the out-cove into a rehab paddock.
